Kurt Stein

Kurt Stein created his innovative teaching method over the last 25 years out of passion for music and creative necessity. He founded his own school of music after refining his own best practices through real-world experience in the music and entertainment industries. His program’s focus is on engaging private lessons, collaborative musical teamwork, and interactive clinics.

Kurt is a skilled motivator, mentor, and educator with a dynamic philosophy and personality. Many of his former students have gone on to become educators, counselors, studio musicians, recording artists, record label managers, Rhodes Scholars, and entrepreneurs.

Kurt performs as a musician, vocalist, DJ, and voice talent. He also works as a multi-media producer, engineer, and creative consultant. Mr. Stein is the former director of Fever Pitch Magazine and Music, and a founding member of The Community Music & Arts Collaborative, a non-profit arts education entity.

Mr. Stein is highly sought after as a knowledgable, fresh, engaging voice both the entertainment industry, and the education community. He has collaborated with many organizations locally, as well as nationally, on projects related to these fields. This includes consultation work with: Jazz At Lincoln Center, PBS Wisconsin, the Wisconsin School Music Association, and many more. Kurt was honored to be a featured speaker at the Beyond School Hours conference in Orlando, FL in February, 2020.
